Just Chillin’

There are always plenty of squirrels scurrying around – this one caught my eye because of the beautiful colour scape created by the squirrel and the sun pouring through the leaves of the tree. I was amazed it stayed still for long enough for me to capture it, but I guess it was quite happy just chilling on his branch!

Busy Bee

I took this picture by the conservatory of Chiswick House. The flowers were alive with bees happily working and doing their thing. There is so much wildlife to see and enjoy in Chiswick. Early morning is the ideal time to enjoy the local flora and fauna and not a day goes by when I don’t see something that inspires me and fills me with joy.

Mother Love

I took this picture while out walking in Chiswick House one morning. Spring is one of my favourite times to visit as there is always the anticipation of seeing a newly hatched gosling, duckling or cygnet. I was fortunate to come across this lovely scene of a goose and gosling sharing a cosy moment.  (Maura Maxwell)

Robin

My allotment neighbour has had several robin nests in the last few years and this year Scruff appeared. Named by my allotment neighbours he has become a wonderful friend to us all joining us on our allotments and when we have our tea breaks together!

Evening sky

I love glass houses, flowers & nature and though this caption was perfectly gathering them all together; and the colours of the sky were just amazing as well.

Behind the trees

I always love taking pictures as I actually see the scene when I walk – so it’s an accurate and natural reflection of the moment captured.

Summer honey

I went bird watching on a very hot day. As it was so hot, there weren’t many birds to see! So I went to look at wild flowers which were attracting bees. I waited patiently for a bee and it happened!
