I love when the snowdrop clumps breakthrough, it’s a sign spring is on its way as the Galanthus give us one last burst of white, like snow on the ground.

This Grey Heron is one of several who frequent the pond in Chiswick House and Gardens (I thought there was only one until I saw them all together!) There is often one standing on the bridge in the morning waiting for a photoshoot, so thought I’d oblige.

We recently installed a new small pond in the allotment. I’m delighted to find that a family of frogs has moved in! Today I saw this lovely frog chilling. (David Shaked)
