I took this picture by the conservatory of Chiswick House. The flowers were alive with bees happily working and doing their thing. There is so much wildlife to see and enjoy in Chiswick. Early morning is the ideal time to enjoy the local flora and fauna and not a day goes by when I don’t see something that inspires me and fills me with joy.

Chiswick School trip

This is a Marmalade Hoverfly.  I thought it looked lovely against the yellow flower.  They are know to migrate across Europe.  They are often mistaken for Wasps due to their shape and colour.  They are very good pollinators and therefore a very important species.
